Newbie again

In fitting the neck, I understand how to carve the neck heal to change the
angle so you get the correct placement with regard to saddle/bridge
position. Here is my question. My current situation is that with my 25'
radiused top, my neck appears to have too much of a down angle if it
maitains the same plane as the top.   (Too large of a space above bridge
position) If I carve the neck heal to change the angle, how do you keep from
getting a space under the fretboard since there will be an angle change at
the fretboard where it joints the top of the guitar? Do you just glue it down
and then re sand the fretboard to make it straight?

See the jigs tools and techniques link at the top of the forum home page for Lances sanding device and think a little about how you need to align the top in that area above the fingerboard extension with the bridge height. Draw yourself a picture with all the parts. This will help you understand how to sand the top to get the correct angle. I try my best to build this into my guitars but sometimes you have to help things along.
